is the monster on the Dodworth-Barnsley road as it crosses the M1 at jct 37 the biggest in Barnsley.
A few inches deeper and we 'd see the traffic below on the M1.

Dunno mate, can you get us a photo?

Be careful not to stop the traffic flowing though :)

periodically the council? bodge it up and it looks o.k. - 2/3 days later it's worse than ever -
drive through it at speed and your car suspension will be knacked and it'll not do the big trucks any good either.

Report it. Council website. Give a clear, detailed description of the location and severity. They'll get round to it... eventually.

Alternatively, adopt it. Make it a member of your family, then using a substance of your choice, fill it in. Best done in the small hours. Recommended fillings include cheese and chutney, tuna, or potted meat.

I think Highways England may be the body responsible for motorway bridges not the local council.
(Would be interesting to know if anyone who has had their vehicle damaged has made a claim against the council or Highways England.)

Am working with Dreamboy3000 on this - he's going to draw an enormous phallus around the pot hole and I'm going to fill it in with a mixture of tapioca and semolina.

The curse of the 'been filled in'. This bugger attacked my wife's and many other cars in Bingley earlier this year. Tyre exploded and alloy damage. Trying to claim we were told "the hole had previously been reported and repaired within 6 months of our incident occurring, so aye, good luck, but nowt to do with us mate"
