A lot of praise for our fans so a big shout out to those of you that went!

Now, apparently we're not half as good as Luton and someone else said the best three sides they've seen at Fratton this season are Luton, Charlton and Burton!

Finally, there's comments about next season and how those that go up from league 1
will struggle in the championship unless backed with serious cash!

I actually think we’d do better in champ than league 1.

I enjoyed today, friendly fans with nothing untoward, both teams going for the win, good few chances, sunny, easy in and out parking, inexpensive and good atmosphere. In my opinion they played a bit like they were lacking confidence and we played like we were missing our top scorer.
    Again, good day out.

You can't please all of the (opposition) fans all of the time - for example, I thought that Plymouth was one of the best sides at Oakwell this season & Pompey certainly weren't (they were top at the time, I think) - bit soft comparing Paulsgrove to Barnsley - should concentrate on football, not insult where people live.

So do I. I'm hoping with the business contacts our board have, it will result in some record sponsonship deals when the likes of kit manufacturer, kit sponsor and stand sponsorships become available.

FFP will be easier with more cash coming in at a higher level. I think our style will better suit playing against better teams that don't park the bus or play long ball. I still think we will need about a dozen new players if we go up. But I reckon mid table won't be out of the question.

Perhaps better was wrong word as we are currently 2nd. “More suited” would be more accurate. Potentially more open games, better standard of football. If we go up, keep this team and coach and recruit 3-4 quality additions I think we’d be mid table

£5 each for the kids though, free parking and £24 for 3 meals and 3 drinks in the pub round the corner. I thought it was reasonable. I take your point about the stand but I like the ground, I think it still has character.

Barnsley fans had been singing the **** hole song during the match so I think it was in relation to that.

Proper old fashioned ground with a cracking atmosphere and some ‘Passionate’ fans. Let’s face it Portsmouth is really a northern city that got lost!

Just been reading their board - seems like that's the best they have played for a while and their fans are more hopeful they can stay in the Playoffs
fairly complementary about us but they seem resigned to it being Luton and us/Sunderland for Automatic
Loved the conspiracy theory that the owners want to get promoted by the playoffs not automatic so they get extra cash - that's even better than most we come up with.
