2025 marks the first year of our end of season survey. We have teamed up with representatives from Athersley Reds, Reds All Over, Tykes TV, Eyup and Down, Barnsley FC Polls, Ponte End Roaring and admins of the popular Facebook pages Forever A Red and Barnsley FC The Ponty End View, to deliver a survey where all match going Reds fans can provide in-depth feedback to their experience Oakwell.

 

This is only for people who attended games according to the intro, right?

 

No, some questions actually ask if you attend games so it’s for any Barnsley fan really.

 

When it says "we have teamed up" who exactly is we, could you divulge a little bit more please? and where does this info end up?

It tells you who has teamed up, it’s going to the club by the FAB not that I personally hold much hope via that channel, let’s be honest they’ve been anonymous

 

I'd seen the list mate of who "we" have teamed up with, but I didn't know who the "we" is, if that makes sense, so as you say the "we" is the FAB

 

Over 600 have completed the questionnaire in the first day……the Poll will run for a month and then passed to the club……there will also be a Poll for fans that do not attend games…..this Poll is nothing to do with me so up to the individual if you do it……

 

I don’t think the we is the FAB, I believe those who have developed the survey are just going to use the FAB as a way of connecting with the club.

 

Yes it is. If you haven't attended this season it tells you the survey isn't for you and kicks you out.

It didn't work after I said I'd bought a shirt from the shop but it wasn't in the options for replica shirts (I bought a 96/7 shirt but the only options were this season's shirts and I couldn't get past the question without selecting something I didn't buy).

 

Can’t fault it. Good idea and it’ll be free insight for the club.

 

Any idea why the club have never really done this themselves? Always think it's madness that they have a database for various things but don't actually use it for market research

 

Just so there's no confusion.

Dan is the main organiser of the survey. He asked for input and help from various content creators and supporter groups. So he's been the brains behind the survey and people like myself (Eyup & Down) have taken over the promotion of the survey. We have been blown away by the response and urge everyone who's not filled it in to do so.

I was a little wary of filling the form in.
But it's cleverly put together. And the type of stuff The FAB would welcome to put forward I'd imagine. As part of the remit. not totally. as they deal with indivual enquiries also.
Unless I missed it. I pointed out the box office experience. Tbh, the best thing about the organisation for me. And deserves a mention.
Probably the most disappointing thing outside of the playing side. Imo. Is the fanatics deal. I don't know if its a success. But its lost an element of fan experience. Practically disconnected from the club.
