    Or even Sunderland and Pompey draw then lose their remaining 2 fixtures then whatever we do doesnt matter :) confidently expecting a Pompey win tomorrow though and us probably drawing v Blackpool and having to hope for Peterborough to bring us back in

    I expect with 5 minutes to go at Bristol we will be 1 goal off promotion one way or another

    As I've said before Peterborough might yet be the team to stop Portsmouth charge rather than Sunderland. Just want 2 wins for us, even if that does mean the play offs our confidence should be sky high!

    It is possible that we could get promoted as champions if the results go our way, BUT, such wishful thinking is tempting fate and counting chickens which is extremely dangerous. Let's just concentrate on winning our two remaining fixtures to put pressure on the others.

    I think I have worked out we could win our last 2 games and still finish anywhere between 1st and 4th.

    Or lose our last 2 games and still finish anywhere between 2nd and 4th.

    My maths might be crap though.

    Not quite right - we cant finish 4th if we win our last 2 matches. We can only finish 3rd if Portsmouth win all 3 remaining games in that case Sunderland cant catch us

    Craziest permutation I can see is:

    Luton lose 2.
    We win 1 lose 1.
    Pompey win 1 and draw 2.
    Sunderland win 2 and draw 1.

    Leaves the four of us all on 91 points - with the likelihood of us and and Luton going up on goal difference.

    My nerves would be a wreck - but I’d take it
