I agree with you mate.

I am merely quoting the observations of another poster on here, about our wonderful town.

 

BMBC posted yesterday about the reason there are no local elections this year, the replies are either comedy gold or an indication of why Reform will do so well round here, despite numerous people pointing out the actual article tells them that Labour have not cancelled them, it's sad really but hilarious to read.

 

Tbh B. the main ones have disappeared. To the back of beyond hopefully. I remember one, I think moved to the Lincoln area many moons/yrs ago. Who was scathing. Not only him but he included some of his family, still living int barnsley Borough. Fekk em mate. He isn't missed. And hopefully the rest of his tribe have fekked off n'all.

They are either some
- people joking (making gullible people believe it)
- are gullible people
- or bots trying to convince gullible people.

Whatever, it's quite scary.

 

I live in the Holme Valley and people have recently discovered Barnsley and insist on telling me I really should visit it. Have lived in the Holme Valley 30 years, a week has rarely passed, when I didn't head to Barnsley for the football, shopping, cinema, museums so I simply smile at their suggestion. It's made a change from when Barnsley seemed to be playing catch up with Wakefield's Ridings Centre and Donny's Frenchgate Centre. Huddersfield's redevelopment plans appear to have taken loads from Barnsley. Meks a welcome change.
