It was schmidt who got slaughtered he started the match only noticed him on 2 occasions his pointless back heel straight to a Cardiff player when we had the ball in a good position and the him been subbed.

You're right about Schmidt and we haven't seen much of him since.

Surely if you strengthen the starting 11, then the knock on should be that the bench gets strengthened automatically

Can we afford anyone that would be better than the three that started up front today though?

Not sure why you have asked me that question , I havn"t mentioned the front three or any other specific players , if you are asking my opinion about our front three , i would answer by saying we need another central striker in the Moore mould, just to provide another option

It was in response to the post about players coming in should be able to improve our starting 11, which I completely agree with btw. But given we are wanting to sign a striker (and also agree about Moore mould), I’m not sure we’ll be able to attract anyone any better than what we already have for the wages we’ll be offering

Yeah, the natural knock on effect.

In all honesty, I’m not sure the starting 11 will get strengthened up front. More likely what you said later in this thread with us signing a more ‘target man’ to offer something different.
