OT Extinction Rebellion....

Whilst one has to respect their views and commitment to raising awareness of global warming and the environment this latest escapade is hardly going to win those over people they are trying to bring on board. . it does rather make them look a bit silly and most people would probably not wish to be associated with them.
The London blockade and the disruption it caused to people going about their business hardly endeared the movement to most normal people even if they were trying to make a point. Breaking the law is not the way to go about changing it....

The group of eight campaigners broke away from a four-day blockade of Deansgate in Manchester city centre organised by Extinction Rebellion.

Problem is, we are sleepwalking towards self destruction and not enough people seem to give a ****.

 

And gluing yourself to the pavement outside a bank is going to resolve that how exactly??

 

Perhaps the Suffragettes could answer that. What did they achieve eh?
