Reminds me of when I hit a pheasant on my way to a hotel one evening for work. It was wedged in the grille, dead as a nit, and had made quite a mess. I inspected at the road side, decided I didn't fancy messing around in the dark, and drove the remaining 40 miles to Southampton with the thing stuck in the grill. After arriving at the hotel, I asked at reception for some gloves and the receptionist offered to pull it out for me. (Edit: The pheasant!)
    I didn't stop her!.

    That's service for you :)

I was once driving a coach to Cambridge and the car in front of me hit a rabbit....don't ask me how but the poor thing just seem to explode and body parts flew all over ...its head wedging its self on my wipers .......thinking I could dislodge it I turned the wipers on big mistake...blood smeared the windscreen....I had to pull over and basically climb up the front of the coach to reach the wipers to remove the head and the blood ......I still shudder to this day ....thinking about it....terrible situation...my hostess was in tears bless her ...some will say it was only a rabbit but honestly it was sickening to see let alone having to deal with it
