I think there has been a fair amount of over-reaction to what was, admittedly, a very disappointing result. We lost 5-2 but we played some entertaining football and were the better side for the majority of the game. We made mistakes, but every team makes some mistakes. Often teams make mistakes and get away with them, and that is the case in every division. Everything seemed to come off for Forest. Whilst it is true that they scored goals which could not reasonably be called lucky, they came out of the blue and just happened to go in. That is what happens on some days. On others it doesn't. Forest's excellent finishing was not the norm for them, but they just happened to finish well tonight. On another day they might have struck the woodwork or blazed the ball over the crossbar. A bloke sitting behind me announced, "They'll get nothing at Birmingham next week either". How does he know that? Would he have voiced that opinion if we had won 5-2? I think tonight's result has little bearing on how we perform at Birmingham. We may well lose again at Birmingham, but I think it equally likely that we shall win. As a very keen fan, I am a little concerned at our poor points haul since the 4-0 win at Wolves, but at least I have been entertained. Much of our play in our last spell in the Championship, especially away from home, was, with the exception of Flicker's magnificent rescue act, deadly dull. We have a good number of talented footballers at the club at the moment, and I do not believe we are in serious danger of relegation.

That is the best post I've read on here tonight. Hurrah.

That's how I see it too. Tonight was an anomaly in our season. Onto Birmingham.

    You Reds.

Decent summing up, first half Forest had 4 goal attempts against our 12. Unfortunately for us 3 of them went in. On another day it could have been 3 or 4 nil to us at halftime.

Shame Marley lost it, I think it was the lad that went through the back of him earlier and only got a yellow card but could easily have had a couple of yellows in the first half as well. Frustration.

Stats don't lie though. For all the good football we are playing we haven't won at home in 7 and have only one win overall in something like 11 games. We make a ridiculous amount of individual mistakes, which if we aren't able to cut out will send us back down. To only get one point from the last 2 home games against 2 pretty poor sides is worrying.....
