Having thawed out I am glad I went. To quote the group of teenagers walking out of Oakwell " that was proper mint!" Bet ITV wished they'd decided to show our match, a 9 goal thriller, red card and 2 great strikes. Perfect for a neutral! A tad concerning though that we play again on Wednesday and a lot of our first choice players stayed on the pitch for the full120 mins.
A tad concerning we conceded 4 goals against a team that were down to ten men & 2 divisions lower than us. At least for now.
You wouldn’t have thought at 2-0 down and them down to 10 men that result would follow. They never showed anything until their 1st goal,. I thought we were quite comfortable and looked like scoring more. Full Credit to them for their spirit and belief, but some god awful defending helped them. Some cracking goals though.
Do we have any centre backs apart from Andersen that we can select with any confidence? Helik injured, Halme injured, Moon and Kitching having shockers and Sibbick seems to have committed some cardinal sin to be cast aside like he has been.
