Love a phal. Worst thing I've ever had is a challenge of a rack of ribs smothered with a 357,000 scoville sauce. I had to wear gloves to do it and i felt like I could see through time when I'd finished. I won a t shirt then went home and vomited in my bath.
Why would you actually want to do that? I like my spice but when my mate bought some similar Scoville-esque sauce, adding more than a teaspoon of it could render a whole plate of food inedible. It was very good if used sparingly, but I seriously don't understand the desire to eat it in amounts that will clearly be very unpleasant!
I hate anything where instead of complementing or accentuating the flavours of a dish the spice overpowers it. I just don't get it.
I like a hot curry, it's weird because even though the heat often gets a bit uncomfortable, I'm still mopping up every last bit of it with naan bread. I normally order a Madras although sometimes I think they can be a bit hot, a Phall is basically just a Madras but with about twice as much chilli powder with some mustard seeds thrown in so it will be ridiculously hot.
Well at least av tried it but not in a hurry to try one any time soon, think al stick t rogan josh in future with the odd Vindaloo nar & again.
