Anyone out there got/use one of these? Website over here offering an OBD2 bluetooth scanner compatible with Android phone for 29.99 euros ( supposedly discounted from 49.99. Do they work with any OBD software apps or is there a specific free/pay for ODB software app you must use? Are there such thing as connectivity issues as some reviews etec are a bit woolly.

My Skoda Yeti has had the engine light come on a couple of times due to the ERG/Dieselgate issue and after theVW 'fix' the regeneration cycle kicks in more often with the fan running on after I stop when the cycle is incomplete. and I'd like to know what is going on. In fairness Skoda have been great and replaced the ERG valve FoC, unlike tales I have heard from some VW and Audi owners with the same issue (engine light came on only a few weeks after the original 'fix' which overwhelmed the ERG with particles causing it to clog up) . Some were initially charged up to £1000 but even when customers complained they still had to pay a proportion of the bill even when it was relatively easy to make the link between the 'fix' and the problem manifesting itself.
The worry is both the ERG valve and the Catalytic convertor are both high cost replacements and the suspicion is even the latest fix is making them vulnerable to excessive amounts of particulate (especially the ERG valve)
