    I'm trying to find out when Kendray was built, specifically Birk Avenue.I've tried using goggle but I can't find out.Any body know how to find out .

    Hey up mate, well Colley Avenue/Cres had them Anderson air raid shelters so deffo pre WW2. Seem to remember being told that the 2 houses on Donny Road /bottom of Lambert Road to chippy were the first built.

    My mate lives on Birk Avenue and he'd like to know what year they were built.He reckons about the 1920/30.s.

    Anyone got / know where to get photos of Hoylemill from that map? Would love to see what it looked like with the railway bridge
