I thought Id touched on it in my post but Ill clarify a bit more. I think Parekh is mesmerised by player statistics first and foremost (e.g the comments re:xg in his own interview). If that's the case then its very likely that Sormaz himself will be in Parekhs ear reinforcing the fact that the players are actual quite good. This will further protect and reinforce Sormaz' position and divert the blame for an utterly crap playing squad onto someone else e.g. the coach. Therefore, someone with footballing knowledge should approach the owner and tell him the facts, expose Sormaz for what he is and make the owner realise that the main reason for the crap squad is the crap DoF. Whether anyone has the guts to do this when Sormaz is in a powerful position remains to be seen. It could backfire on them. Perhaps Hourihane will do it though - he may feel he has nothing to lose. I dunno. We'll see.

I'm holding off renewing because I want to see a response to what has been a season and a half's turmoil at Oakwell. Oakwell has not been a happy place to watch BFC ply their trade since Sormaz was appointed. No point buying a season ticket if I don't enjoy what's on offer. Is it all down to Sormaz? I don't know what budget he's been given so I can only speculate. It's up to Parekh, as owner, to deliver a more compelling product than I've witnessed this past season and a half.
