Just listening to radio deedar and the Wednesday fans are livid and want rid of manager. They want to be knocking at the door of the premier league and nowt else will do. We on the other hand are on a downer having seen us only win 5 from 21, not scored in open play in 5 full games and slipping down towards the foot of the table. We just want better. Two sets of fans and clubs with different expectations and aspirations, but misery is misery. Without misery and despair radio Sheffield wouldn't have a phone in programme and majority of football forums would be very quiet. Int misery brilliant!?? Brilliant!!!
Love it when they ring and say "looks like top 2 is out of the question". As if it's some kind of divine right that they should be up there. They make such a big deal about having the best fans. I don't think they were even in the top 6 average home crowds in the Championship last year.
Although like all clubs Wednesday will have some deluded fans. I think the majority of them expect to be challenging not a Devine right. They just have ambition.
