My favourite time of the year, usually. But with COVID, for a second year, it doesn't feel very Christmassy. We even lost our Boxing Day game to COVID, through no fault of our own. So I'm house-bound pretty much for the next few days. I'll be at church tonight for mass, but other than that, it's a quiet one. The one thing that hasn't altered about Christmas is how light my wallet feels by the 24th. But there's plenty of ale to sup, lots of good food to devour, in a warm house spent in great company. So I've few real worries. There are many less fortunate out there. Those affected by the virus, those affected by the many other illness and injuries and are stuck in hospital, those without a home; an endless list. But it's life, and I take nothing for granted. Life has proven to me many times over, that it can change dramatically. And I think that's why it remains my favourite time of the year. Because I weigh up the good and the bad and find myself thankful for what I do have. I hope each and every one of you on here enjoys the festivities. And here's to a great 2022! Take care
merry Christmas one and all, especially Whitey, I have said before the not a podcasts you did got me through a real dark time, I used to laugh so much at them and looked forward to them being released
Have a good 'un, fella. Keep doing what you do. Gutted there's no footy, but chuffed you'll now get a proper break with the family. All the best from the Haworth branch....
Merry Christmas @YTBFC . Thank you for engaging with this forum in the ways that you do. Have a great Christmas!
