I’m involved regularly in park runs in both participating and marshalling them and the first I have heard of protests being held is on this thread, not saying it hasn’t happened at others but I’ve not heard of it.
What has happened though is Women were objecting to trans registering as women and setting records and taking placements in the women’s category, this resulted in Park Run removing categories and records to avoid a this.

Deep down the goal of these evil people is to force trans people out of socity and ultimately make that number increase. It's the only explanation for their behaviour that makes any sense.

I won't give an inch to these people or the morons that parrot their talking points.

 

Haven't missed anything, it's hardly a surprise that the courts would use this kind of language as they are all captured by the identity politics nonsense. As for the Equality Act it's doing exactly what it was intended to when Harperson introduced it, just before they were booted out of office. If we ever get a grown up Government it may be significantly revised or even repealed.

Your description of Rowling and Linehan is too daft for words, however my understanding re Khelif is that he was in fact born a male, so regardless of how he was raised Rowling (and anyone else that called it at the time) appears to have been spot on.

It actually relates to a right wing think tank including them in a report on trans issues in sport claiming it classed as a sport because of the stats being published despite it clearly being a running event not a contest. Right wing media picked up the story around feb last year after they decided to removed the stats in order to comply and not risk losing funding.

Protesters started appearing at events shortly after and have turned up intermittently ever since.

I don't seem able to quote Mansfield Red's post, which given I had to read it in the first place is insult added to injury, but in response I'd simply say that as nobody can in reality change their sex, it can only ever be a form of acting/behaving like the opposite sex. Nothing nasty about that, it's just the reality of the situation.
