Yeah my wife’s from Donni and me being from Mexborough so known a few folk from Doncaster, most of them are highly ambivalent about football, if you push them they might take a passing interest in Rovers but just as likely to support Leeds or Man Utd. Nothing like the feeling for the town or club like you get in Barnsley. In fact people from Mexborough were always split between Donni, Rotherham, Sheffield clubs and Barnsley and those who supported Doncaster were far more committed then people from Doncaster proper.
