Same here. He was brilliant in his first game when we beat Fulham but it just seemed like error after error kept costing us, and overshadowed his genuine ability. I genuinely didn't think he'd make the standard, much as I wanted him to. All credit to him, he's proved me wrong and maybe proved something to himself too. He must have some strength of character.
always got one in him, but his improvement over the last 12 months has been astonishing. the football break seems to have worked brilliantly for him.
