    At the time, a song released in 1980 seemed like a long time after a song released in 1976. And the Beatles, only 10 years earlier, was a generation away.

    Now if someone mentions a song released 10 years ago, in my head, it seems more like 2 months ago.

    Baggy trousers was the first record I ever bought, aged 12, bought it on a day out at my aunties on the Prom at Cleveleys ( between Blackpool n Fleetwood) funny what u remember...Eeeee nostalgia, takes me back that does, are kids gonna remember that Capaldi kid in 40 years time.......jeez I sound like me Dad.
