This is NOT what I want but what I think it could well be

    Davies
    Cavare Pinnock Lindsay Yiadom
    Potts Mallan Gardner Hammill
    Thiam Moore

His only positive I can see so far is he has a bit of strength. His reading of the game is all over the place.

I can see hecky playing Potts mallan Gardner as a midfield 3 with hammill on one wing thiam on the other and Moore up on his own

Not much between them at the minute, neither are scoring but you have to admit Thiam looks a better footballer and if he adjust to a new country and language will only get better.

Am I the only one that would go 451 for this game - Hammill on one wing And the young lad on the other with Moore starting upfront

My main disappointment with him is his lack of pace. If he were the same player but with lightning pace the deficiencies in his reading pelf the game and movement would be hidden as it is they are exposed. He has improved has a good shot on him and may play more effectively with a partner. As I said I think the system we play doesn’t suit him.

I would play Pinnios at left back & if Isgrove is not fit , play Yiadom in front of Cavare on the right

Bit strong and unfair in my opinion. He's a young guy who has come to another country, had to learn the language (his English is probably now better than most of the people who post on here ). Whatever you say, he has a touch of quality about him that I sincerely hope will flourish in time.
