You can see where Leeds get their points from I think. They look competent at the back and midfield, but quick, slick and as ‘one touch ‘ as they can be going forward. We’re doing brill tactically I reckon
They’re a good side in possession but they’ll concede goals. They’ll play better teams than us - and we’ve had chances to get at them. I’m quite impressed with us today. Sibbick looks better in midfield than at right back. Win lose or draw it is a much more competent and tactically aware performance. We look like a championship competitive side. I’d imagine there’ll be more than three sides worse than us.
Although Leeds have done far more attacking and forced a slew of corners I think Barnsley have done okay. If inexperience is Barnsley's weakness then it can only get better as the season progresses. That said, they look fairly toothless up front with only two decent chances. Sadly Thomas's shot had all the venom of an earthworm. In fact, thinking about it, I'd say Barnsley's defenders have played with a maturity, drawing fouls and nullifying some threatening Leeds attacks.
