    I don't think I've seen a thread on this, but the ref was the best we've had in ages in my opinion. He wasn't 100 percent consistent, and he let a lot of holding and pushing go ( for both teams), and a couple of dodgy decisions when playing advantage, but I really liked how he let the game flow and rarely got involved.

    Well said, mate. I'm not a great lover of match officials (as those who sit near me can testify!:D), but last night were probably the best I've seen for quite some time.
