Just been watching the goals from leagues one and two and saw some cracking goals. Quite a lot shots from distance which either flew in, got deflected or were saved and followed up. The players scoring those goals aren't world beaters and certainly no better than what we have at our disposal, but yet I find myself admiring their willingness to have a crack at goal and making their own luck. I know championship defences are better, but for me that's all the more reason for taking on shots early and not trying to be too precise. There were times yesterday when we had time to have a look and get a shot away, but the ball just went sideways, and was eventually delivered into a crowded goal mouth. Of course I don't expect us to shoot from everywhere, every time we get the ball, but to at least be looking to do a bit more of it.
