Cheap, pathetic attempt at point-scoring. The kind of thing I always associate with the Tories. Whoever thought that up wants a serious rap on the knuckles.

    P.s. Barnsley to win.

The sort of cheap shot the Tories would take and which, given the effectiveness against Jeremy Corbyn, would appear to resonate with some voters. Let's face it under Johnson they were happy to throw the Jimmy Saville taint against Starmer. It's time Labour stopped being nice losers. Having said all of that I do think it's sad that politics has come to this but for the Tories to complain, given some of the filth their attack dogs (and I include the bulk of the UK press in this) have thrown at Labour politicians, I think it's a bit rich of them to complain.

That said any Toried crying about it need to give themselves a good slap

I have to say this strategy will maybe work with the "Red Wall", (no Barnsley reference). Quite frankly it stinks. Politics is going to ****. My MP in Headingley is great and will always get my vote. This is guttersnipe politics, playing the Tories at their own game. Maybe the focus groups think this is the only way they can win? I find that depressing, but it may be the case. I just want rid of Sunak and their far right politics, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
