We'd be a decent side if we had a goalkeeper. What was he doing foer the first and third goals? Nobody picked up Traore for the second, only one not the keepers fault.
We have played 36 league games. On only 6 occasions have we managed to score more than 1 goal. On all 6 occasions we did this we got at least a point from the game. I'm fact we won 5 of these games. So for me it's clear to see where the problems are. Unless you are saying we need a keeper so good that unless he keeps a clean sheet we are not going to win. Because I think that is unrealistic myself.
It's not just the keeper though, mind you he was at fault for the first and third. I think you could get a Sunday league side and Boro would take more than 50 seconds to score against them, it was unbelievably bad defending, not helped by the keeper sitting on his arse. Strangely enough, when their keeper cocked up on a cross, we could only hit the post from a yard and a half out, Bamford scored off his knee.
Of course, but that was a problem all last season too even when we were doing well, we just had the ability to score goals ourselves and that is what has been lost.
