Feel I ought to be upset, but can't honestly find it. Genuinely wanted England to win, but just a bit 'meh' about defeat. It doesn't get to me like a defeat at club level does. Tarn results shape my whole weekend. England just a feeling of oh well....

All it’s done for me is given me a stress headache and an even bigger feeling of there is no God,Rashford is decent kid doesn’t deserve that

Agree entirely. If we’d won, great, but I’d rather see Barnsley win the JPT.

Less bothered about the one-off loss but genuinely getting that sinking feeling that I'll never see England win owt in my lifetime.

For me the greatest thing about England’s journey in this tournament is seeing the Schools, community groups and neighbourhoods etc being excited and collectively pulling together and showing we can be together. Perhaps we’re wrestling the flag back from far-right and racists, certainly hope so

I think we will. Nearly all our team are young, got maybe another 3 world cups/European championships in them so at least 6 more chances. Plus players like Trent AA, whose passing I think we missed at times.

I was not as gutted about this as France 98 and Euro 2004. Those were real gutting defeats as we were the better team and felt robbed. And it felt we had a real chance at both tournaments. After about 30 mins this had an air of inevitability about it. It was a poor performance and it reminded me of Croatia in '18 and Italy in 2012.

For the first 20/25 minutes our wing backs were causing chaos. After that they didn't come forward again either by instruction or inclination. If it was the latter they should have been told to get out again because it was increasingly obvious what was going to happen.
In the cold light of day it still remains a massive opportunity thrown away.

Disappointed but doesn’t compare to the Reds.

If we hadn't caught 'em cold with that really early goal, we'd not have scored all night. Love Gareth and what he's done, but he needs to be a little braver sometimes and take the shackles off his creative players. Not helped by persisting with two defensive holding midfielders - it got us some early results, but lets be honest, that side rarely sets the pulses racing......
