You cannot blame any of that on a woeful batting performance & of course you cannot blame Stokes for deciding to put the tourists in to bat, having won the toss & two up in the series , why did we not bat ? , you do not want to be batting last against their spinners on a waring wicket , golden rule , give them no life lines

For Christ sake Stokes. Causing Cook to nick off again.

    Utter disgrace.

Objective, bat 2 days. Outcome... play anything wide to give slips catching practice.

This is the worst test batting line up we've had for a long time. Not just technique but mentality. Interesting under this coach we've collapsed losing all wickets in a session 3 times. Prior to that, its something like 80-90 years since it last happened.

Time for change at coaching level. Yes, we'll be 2-1 up, but take out Woakes' 150 at Lords, Currans swashbuckling 50 at Edgbaston, and we'd have had multiple collapses and at least be 2-1 to a very flakey team. They may be number 1 I the world... but its all relative when you consider how poor world cricket currently is.
