Personally I don't find his stand up that funny, but I do like him and find him funny he's on panel shows and that kind of stuff. Totally mystified if he goes through with his threat to shred the money though, yes its got his cause attention but it would be crazy if he doesn't change his mind and give it to some deserving charity, God knows there are enough about!
Beckham has more sense these days. Lets face it the world cup should never have gone to them and wouldn't have but for blatter and co. I bet that brown envelope had more than 10 grand
Blatter, despite all his faults, was always against Qatar as host when he was president of FIFA, he favoured the USA at the time. But the bid was pushed through by Platini and the UEFA board. As an aside, Gianni Infantino, who was on that board and is now FIFA president, lives in Qatar......

Regardless of if it was real or fake my immediate note on his Twitter is how outraged people seem to be at the prospect of someone shredding some money. So much more than people taking millions in sportswashing money. Almost as if that's the exact point he's trying to make?
Shredding £10k is a horrible stunt when there is so much poverty all round the country. Donating it to a food bank would have been a better thing to do. He had went right down in my estimations.
