.....must have been watching a different game!

"Referees need to make decisions and it looked like the wild west out there. They could do what they wanted, there was no authority." (BBC)

I agree that the ref was poor, but QPR were no angels with some of their tackling and barging. We gave as good as we got.

    Disappointed in the man

1st half, the ref was definitely a homer. That's probably when Jimmy set his opinion.

I must be one of the few who thought the ref was okay yesterday. The Linesman were worse

Is that why their players were allowed to constantly moan and gripe at the ref including one making gestures that should have been a booking?

They got 2 dubious looking penalties.

Yeah he was abit lightweight on those decisions I agree, however in recent years we've had much MUCH worse referees. and I would say they were both pens. We'd all be in agreement had they been awarded to us

    Re: Miserable git

I text my lad after 15 mins and said that I hoped the ref would keep it up all game. Ref was very lenient towards us in the first half. I got the impression that Hasselbank told his team at half time that they had to match us regards aggression and they did. They also upped the moaning especially the centre halfs.

Every decision against them they were crowding the ref. I thought he was a bit weak after but on reflection it was an aggressive match. Just wish the FA would appoint referees with some backbone sometimes.

Perhaps he should have booked one of them early on and it may have stopped them from doing it throughout the rest of the match. Arrr well who cares we won :D
