    Sad to see the passing of Jean Luc Goddard. One of cinemas most influential and innovative film makers.

    Yup, some great movies if you're prepared to invest the time in them. Although JLG: Self Portrait is one of the most pretentious things I've ever seen.

    I'll add his penultimate film 'Goodbye to Language' to that list - it's almost unwatchable.

    However his earlier stuff during the La Nouvelle Vague captures the cool ziegest of the time and deserve multiple viewings.
