Investing in whiskey

    Randomly, my wife's just sent me a message that she's looking at investing in whiskey?!

    Anyone ever done this? Is it a good long term safe haven type investment?

    I invest in whiskey every week. Never lasts long though, sadly.

    I'd rather drink my own p I s s personally.

    Blowk who comes in local is loaded. He invests and buys loads. It's just an investment for him. Told me other week what he'd make on selling it all tomorrow. Probably at least quadruple his spend at least.

    I wouldn't have a clue myself like.

    I looked in to this but never went ahead with it. Funny timing as yesterday I read an industry expert/investor saying whisky was almost worthless unless it’s being sold to another distillery to blend in with their own, and that all the return on investment figures are inflated.

    This is not financial advice…..

    Yeah, thanks, we had a quick flick through the prospectus she'd been sent and we weren't impressed.

    Money stays where it is for now :)
