I know, I know. It doesn't take much and the actual fact is I'm a lot confused! However, when did it become normal to say "I'm not criticising (insert name here)" and then proceed to criticise said individual? Yes, you ARE criticising that person, just because you're claiming not to doesn't make it true. It's reminiscent of someone starting a sentence by claiming "I'm not a racist, but", then believing that opening comment allows them free reign to quote any ignorant bile without the possibility of being called out on their horrible, racist views. I'll stop behaving like a grumpy, old man now and go back to watching Hey Duggee!
Whilst I'm on my self righteous high horse, why do some folk claim they're a "Straight talker" and "Tell it like it is"? If that were true, you wouldn't NEED to confirm this. Your very style of speaking and communicating would express this clearly. Also, you wouldn't care what anyone else thinks about you, so you needn't affirm it.
youre not A LITTLE anything, i remember talking to you and mrs lil and i thought i was in an episode of land of the giants............................ not being racist but a famous indian once said " very brobdinnagion"
I hear what you are saying @JLWBigLil and take on board everything, however, with due respect, you are wrong
I'm glad you've commented, old mate. I remember you saying on a similar subject, "Why do some people claim they're clever and intelligent? No one who is clever and intelligent makes that claim".
