Watched the game back today. Apart from the glitsch of lack of sync between sound and picture I thought it was excellent and much improved. Replays, loads of camera angles. Is that going to be the new norm? As for the game I thought we were superb. I was expecting us to get beaten but we more than matched them. Impressed with Wilks, he seems a real handful. It was fabulous to see our defenders storming forward too. There were occasions where Sibbick and then Anderson brought the ball into Fulham's half and stayed with the attack to the point where they were deep in the penalty area. Great stuff.
Maybe the replays/camera angles were because the game was a featured game on the Championship highlights show and it was also live on ESPN+ Would be cool if it was the norm now though
Used to run ok on my comp but now its all over the show. Sound out of sync and broken. Not sure whats up.
Agree, would be great to have replays and team sheets with more angles but unless we now plug into league coverage, that’s a tough ask. Agree on the sound cutting. Spoilt it for sure, it used to be the sound and image finally synced in time but seemed to be a few seconds ahead (audio over picture) all the way through. Excellent performance, lots of energy, but seemed much tighter than comments from those who saw it live. Fulham had a fair few free headers. Another day with better finishing could’ve been 3 or 4, another day with less luck and a ref with big club bias and we could well have gone away with nothing. Fine margins in the champ. Fantastic 3 points though.
Apparently the club have said the ifollow people had apologised for the sync problem and said it was a one off thing though I have to say it was regularly slightly out last season.
It was mentioned on the Quest highlights show that all Chamoionship games would have better, and multiple camera angles this season. Not sure who has sanctioned it but I’m all for it.
must admit I watched the first half again - will watch the second later today when I have a bit of time and apart from the sound sync problem I thought the coverage was excellent - hopefully all games will be of a similar standard and this wasn't just due to the TV coverage even more hopefully we will play as well - its much easier to appreciate the coverage when the performance is top class
I tried to watch it back but could only manage 5 mins. cannot deal with the sound and picture out of sync.
I’ve not attempted it yet. I may just mute it if it is annoying but I do really want to hear Matt’s commentary, that’s the main reason I watch it back.
