When that goal went in, I didn't feel anger or dismay, I felt gutted. You know that feeling that you have been
kicked in the the stomach, a bit heartbreaking really :(

    Edit.

It's my club, it always will be.

ONCE A RED, ALWAYS A RED

Millwall were dire today too. If there was a team there for the taking it was today. Zero points from 3 games against fellow strugglers. Says it all.

For me it's the fall from play off contenders to looking like a bunch of pussies that are not up for the fight. The fall has been dramatic and embarrassing. Don't know how we can turn things around.

Funny how we see different games, if Millwall could finish we could have lost that 3 or 4 nil

I wasn’t even disappointed. Millwall were poor but far better than us for the last 3/4 of the match today and deserved to win even it they were far better st playing the ref than we were

Not hard to see why it was their first away win of the season though. Teams must love playing us at the minute.

Yes they were wasteful in front of goal but they were still better than us, it’s hard to say but true

I thought the first half was entertaining and fairly even but second half was flat with only one team going to win it unfortunately.

Precisely, I'm not angry, I'm not going to rant and rave about the team and manager... I'm just sad :(

If you were looking at our squad as an investment manager. (I'm not. I'm a DJ). That squad could be going from being worth 30k to chip paper. I'm fairly sure Conway will be looking at that.

Absolutely. Not a popular opinion by any means, but I think we should have cashed in a little more in the summer. For example the Val system asked players in each position to do a small number of jobs well. I'd back Andersen and Helik to win headers all day long, under Val that's what they spent 90% of the time foing and they looked like superstars! But would I back either of them in a 1-on-1 against a decent dribbler or to make a decent pass?

We were more than the sum of our parts last year, hence we should have cashed in and used the finances wisely - level up each year as the likes of Brentford have done.

I have felt this way about Barnsley since Dike, Val and Mowatt left and it hasn't stopped.

It is really saddening. We all missed the best season in years and now we are finally back it is beyond disappointing, it feels quite soul destroying. This club and those players are part of our lives and carry our hopes and identity and we are being badly let down. It needs sorting out as we all expect to lose now, our expectations are zero and we deserve more than that.

Know the feeling. When it went in I sat in silence. Didn't leave like a lot did and couldn't be arsed to shout about it. Just total silence gutted we'd lost another and it's another game where because we are so unfit we can't score in a second half.
