    I know you're right it's just initially disheartening, especially when most will be kicking up a fuss that network rail will probably act on the back of this, one older residents who've lived here 70 & 80 plus years say it never happened before fire I mean but in today's knee jerk world that won't matter a hot.

    Glad now to report that one of the squirrels has been and got his breakfast nuts from his feeder so hopefully the other one is safe too and just had a wren hopping around which is first I've seen in a few months, so they are about, like I said most had fledged in the last few weeks so by the time they return in a few months hopefully new regrowth will be happening..

    That's also shocking to hear about the foxes especially if people are doing that sort of thing, I've not had the pleasure of seeing a fox for over 20 years

    I've worked on those houses . They are built out of timber strand boards hence the reason they burnt so fast . Obviously I hope they are insured and are looked after . I presume they were all bought on right to buy
