So he'll have joined up today, or yesterday at a push. If he really has been sent home at this stage then I'd be furious if I was Hourihane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He passed me in a black range rover this afternoon at Oakwell. Well im pretty sure it was him . Shame about him missing out for Ireland , he must be bitterly dissappointed.
Strangely their original squad was about 35 players; maybe a bit of a training camp type scenario. Don't need that many for 2 games so maybe best to let players who won't feature go back to their clubs or have a break.
Wouldn't blame him. Of course in public he will be diplomatic because he wants better chances in the future. But if in private he's angry and frustrated at being called up for all of 24 hours nobody could blame him. Big waste of time.
As I understand it he's a proud Irishman so regardless of the situation he will be very proud t have been involved
Not really a surprise, they named more than they needed & were always more likely to go with the more proven (at international level) ones for World Cup qualifiers
