Shed 7 going for gold is an absolute masterpiece of a greatest hits.

Albums have their place, usually when you’ve got time to spend listening to the entire thing. Greatest hits are good for the car where you may only get to listen to a couple of tracks at a time..

My band supported them in 1995. Forum in London, Leeds Irish Centre & Glasgow. They hated the guitarist & he hung out with us.

Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd is a proper album. I listen to that all the way through. As far as Greatist Hits albums go. Echoes is up there. The Beatles released the Love album a few years back too. The mash ups on it aren't bad with Taxman and Drive My Car.

Made in the Shade by the Rolling Stones. As a schoolboy, I thought it was an original studio album. & a bloody good one.! :)

Was once in restaurant in Germany on a business trip and we all sung Bohemian Rhapsody a capella style; got a reight round of applause from all the other diners when we'd done.

Just listening to Syd Barrett as prescibed by Marc it's hit the spot. Can't believe so much genius was wasted.
