I should point out that not all Tory posters on here are pr1cks, my comment was aimed at the few Tory pr1cks that do post, just to be clear.
You misunderstand me. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone's point of view. What is wrong and is bullying is when someone makes a personal attack on someone who has a different point of view to yourself. I was a Leaver - most of the posters on this board had a different view which was o.k. But we leavers were subjected to some personal and offensive comments by some posters - that was bullying.
Bullying is a very emotive word. I can think of posts where the language wasn't polite but I can't think of any that I saw as bullying, as against a particular poster rather than their views. But I may well have missed them.
As were we remainers also. I think the tone and content of the original post can be viewed as not very complimentary to posters and in fact courting unsavoury responses with an unsavoury post. Also some view multiple opposiit view posters as bullying but how is this bullying? If multiple people respond it’s because they have a view not because it’s co ordinated . If you post a view on a multiple read board you should expect multiple reply’s . Not always but it should be expected and they could be evenly viewed or more towards one point of view than another , either way it’s not bullying it’s responding . The original poster put a red flag up he got his response imo.
No point having a go at voters, everybody voted the way they did in good faith. It's not a party politics thing, I think most other Tories would've done a better job of dealing with this crisis, as well as most politicians across all parties. Johnson is showing himself up as not fit to lead.
re Brexit debate -- In different posts I was referred to as a Racist, Nazi, Mental lovely person*, Fkn moron. These are insulting words - and I'd say they were bullying. (It wasn't only leavers who were subjected to this abuse.) Posting a message on an open board will lead to wide differences of opinion. The point I am making is - disagree with the message as much as you like but once you make personal criticism you are at risk of bullying behaviour.
Another day, another set of fibs from Johnson. The OP must have not seen Starmer completely destroy the Floppy Haired Liar today, as Johnson tells a bare faced lie but is immediately put in his place with evidence from less than 2 months ago. What a wonderful leader we currently have.
The personal criticism comes when you provide someone with a stack of evidence that completely disproves their argument - so they just ignore it, put their head in the sand and then post the exact same falsehood on another thread. That's when they are correctly called out. Just that.
The OP can’t be a^*d with you thanks. You say something then when I respond with points where YOU are totally wrong, your response is “I meant to say”. Then resort to personal abuse to make you feel better about yourself and that you are always correct.
Fonzie makes valid points, I'll however merely state you invite robust responses cos you talk utter ******* *****.
61,000 individuals................. where's the global deaths comparison league table again? They love fudging stats even when their own figures are horrifically and maybe even criminally bad.
Can't they just keep counting the 40,000 that are probably still sitting in a Royal Mail Distribution Centre waiting to be delivered?
Whilst we're here, there's currently a picture doing the rounds of our friend Mr Johnson with his head in his hands sat cross legged supposedly feeling the pressure - I'm sure we've seen it doing the rounds on Facebook. Well it's actually a picture from the 2002 Party Conference - with a credit to Stefan Rousseau. Yet more lies from the Pro Tory bunch.
