Don’t think we’ve got many on good money. Hammill who’s contracts up anyway & then you’ve got Davies who signed a new contract after performing well for several months at this level so he’ll be on a decent wage & then you’d imagine Isgrove & Bradshaw are on decent money. Can’t imagine many of the rest are.
Sorry, I thought we signed quite a few in the summer transfer window on 3 year contracts. My understanding was that those signings were greeted with approval on here because were would not be losing them in the same circumstances as we lost players in the past.
Mowatt, Moncur, Thiam, Cavare, Isgrove, Bradshaw, Moore and Knasmüllner, Davies you would imagine would be on wages that would be difficult under ScMP. Yiadom will be off either way.
A You may be right I can’t keep up these days possibly Lindsay and Potts? Bradshaw would be excluded I guess. The rest are a blur but you are usually right.
Not sure I’m sure the owners will have some creative ways to make it less of an issue. That’s if they haven’t decided it’s all too much and closed the club down.
New manager might bounce in shake everything upside down and all this gloom and doom talk might be irrelevant. Let’s hope so.
It’s the in excess of 3 seasons thing that makes me doubt wouldn’t that be longer than the 3 years that we gave players?
Wigan and Blackburn have kept the majority of their players Blackburn kept danny Graham who must be on a packet and signed dack.
Possibly, I don't know. I was working on the assumption that a year is longer than a football season.
Don’t they have parachute money to factor into things? I’m never sure when that stuff runs out but on tbe Wigan forum I’m pretty sure they said this year is there last year.
Not sure why Blackburn are still in business tbf. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...kys-out-kentaro-jerome-anderson-a7724601.html
Could be right there forgot about that. Blackburn don't though their wage bill must be the biggest in the league.
It's five years since Wigan were relegated from the Premier League, six for Blackburn. I though parachute payments only lasted for four years?
