Wednesday fans telling Radio Sheffield that they are not bothered about Barnsley, it’s not a derby, etc. Whilst simultaneously telling the world they should be beating “teams like Barnsley”.
I listened to praise or grumble tonight. Most Wensdehhh fans questioned the quality/commitment of their players rather than have a pop at us. One caller called us an average side. I can live with that, as it means we'll finish mid table or better. I think they're finally starting to realise that they're sh!te.
average is a compliment from them to us. We are usually and almost always a poor side. But his logic was odd as he seemed to imply they shouldn’t be losing to an average side. I guess when an average side plays a very poor one often the average side will come out on top. It more about who was the better side and of course that was obviously us.
