Just seen on the news. Football being played in empty stadiums but fans still allowed to gather in pubs have a drink and watch the football on tv.
Hmm? Seems to defeat the purpose IMO.

Tried watching yesterday and again today, it’s painful. Players acknowledging each other with their forearms has to be a new low

Why were the subs wearing masks but not the players who were closer?

Crazy innit? Can only imagine the hammer Boris would get if this was allowed to happen here.

Easier for a few dozen to sit at tables in a pub than tens of thousands being cramped in a stadium.

Gave it a look, 5 mins in, interest started to wane chucked it altogether after 15 mins.
Commentators were trying to bullsh1t it up But it wasn’t football like I want to see it, sounded like it was being played in a swimming baths and no pun intended , too sterile

Social distancing on the bench... was it also a non-contact game?

What happened with the ball after a player handled it? Did they keep changing it after every throw-in, corner and free kick?
