    Be ideal for us. Sadly, if the article is true I'd wager him probably ending up at Ipswich as they will be more likely to offer a higher wage.

    Would be a great signing for us but like has been said, if it boils down to hard cash we’re struggling.
    Hopefully the pull of being back home with family and the fact his dad started out with us gives us the edge.

    I thought elsewhere @Stephen Dawson had reported a conversation (albeit with a Wednesday fan) that suggested his father had told him not to sign for us?

    Having said that his dad fell out with them at Hillsborough and doesn't have any involvement with the club unless this as changed.

    Perhaps he could tell him to p i s s his career up the wall like he did Could have been one of the best if it wasn't for boozing. Fergie was on about signing him for ManUre at one point.
