With this new flurry of signings and more potentially on the way what do we think will happen to fringe players like Templeton, Cowgill, and Tuton. Personally I'd loan the two young lads out for a season to League 2 and sell on Tuton. Also begs the question as to whether Lee will be primarily used as winger now we have 5 1st team strikers + Tuton

Well you can't recall a long term loan, so I wouldn't let anyone go.

My guess is that Cowgill and Tuton will go out on loan. If we sign the lad from QPR with the unpronounceable name, Callum Evans could also go out on loan. At his age he needs to play some first team football, which he won't do with us anytime soon. Think the club think a lot about him.

    Isn't Evans injured again?

Personally I agree I've never really like tuto as a player and he's not getting a look in the team ESPECIALLY with Armstrong for 5 months so we should sell him in January because it won't happen tommorow.

A lack of football has hampered many a young player in my opinion at BFC so I agree with the idea of loaning a couple out. Tuton seems the obvious choice, definately down the pecking order now. Templeton possibly also, I'd have liked to see Cowgill push MacDonald to be honest, but with Jaskson's arrival, maybe a loan would be good. They key is arranging a quality loan spell though, get the best club possible for the player. We always seem to end up with our young prospects at a very low level, now whether that may change now we're possibly perceived in a different, Championship tinged light, who knows?

I think we need to keep them all. No emergency loans and they also were considered as possible replacements or possibles. If we can loan to the conference without 'the season long' loan being in operation, then fair enough, loan out.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple go out on loan, but not too many.

The way the transfer window works from this season onwards makes it more of a squad game. We need a fair sized squad as we aren't able to bring in emergency loan players like in past years.

Say we let Cowgill go out on loan, and Roberts and Macdonald then get injured or suspended? Down to the bare bones again with no way of recalling Cowgill.

The only other solution is to rely on short term contracts offered to free agents. Donny have signed a lad today on a 2 month contract, seemingly to plug a gap.

We need to have 2 players in each position as a minimum, I'd even fancy 3 in a couple.

Players like Kpekawa (permitting he signs), Lee and Watkins who are comfortable in several positions are invaluable in a season like this.

I'd sell Tuton and keep the others in. A couple of injuries and Cowgill and Templeton could be in the squad. I've noticed that Carvel's name on the scoresheet a couple of times too so maybe he could be in the queue!
