If we played two up top, who would he replace?

You'd replace our top scorer with someone with one goal in two years.

 

Moore and Fletcher up front Bradshaw behind them well you have to dream

 

I actually agree with Jimmy Cricket. I think if we did bring Fletcher in then we’d probably see him starting alongside Moore as PH’s preferred forward line.

 

Then we better start preparing for league 1 now. People forget the Fletcher of 2 years ago isn't the one coming back, Fletcher of 2 years of playing only sporadically and low on confidence would be the one coming back. Will take some time to get up to speed to the extent that if he does I think it will be far too late.

 

Wouldn't sign him.

1 goal in his last 32 games isn't the kind of forward we need.

 

Hypothetically speaking of course, I just can’t see us spending a fortune on Fletcher if we’re going to sit him on the bench, that’s all.

He's irreplaceable!

 

Fletcher on the bench for me. No other striker loaned from a fellow Championship side with his goal and appearance record would be considered worth dropping Bradshaw or Moore for. No amount of understandable nostalgic memories of Fletcher from two years ago can alter the fact that he'll need a month or so to find his feet and get up to speed. I'm not anti-Fletcher by the way, I'd like him to join us, but the answer to our goal scoring prayers I'm afraid he's unlikely to be straight away.
