Looks fantastic mate, well done. How big is it?

I'd like to chip in a few quid, how do i do it?

 

The flag is 9m x 6m, just under half the length of a cricket pitch, if that helps.

If you're not on PayPal, just leave a tenner behind the bar in the Curry Mahal and I'll use it the next time I pop in. Alternatively, if you PM me I'll give you my bank account which you can use if you trust me. One or two others have done this and I'll make sure you all get a proper receipt for it.

If you'd rather not do that just find a mate who's on PayPal and get them to do it for you. Thanks for your contribution.

 

Thanks for everyone's comments. No final design will please everyone, it's all subjective. But I hope that between us all we have created something great. From someone else's words, to pictures robbed and edited, to Gaz's design and my patience with him I do think that this will look brilliant. Cheers all.
The high res version has been sent

Further Update: -

I've now received the high-res version of the flag (thanks Neil) and uploaded it to the flag manufacturers. However, once again I can't complete the order as their online ordering system obviously has never been tested with an order over £999.99 before! Therefore it will be Monday before I can sort this out as there's nobody there over the weekend.

The flag design is now fixed so there's no point in any further comments on it, but thanks for all the inputs and suggestions so far. Further donations are of course welcome, and any excess will be donated to a charity which we can all choose on here. Like the Curry Mahal Stahlrost Tandoori Trust, for example.

Our design encompassed all the ideas submitted. Someone's wording, ideas for Preedys inclusion, the horizontal stripes, badge, etc etc. we tried to get 8-10 or so ideas from folk on threads into one design to try and please everyone so they could see an element of their efforts come to fruition. I didnt actually think ours would be chosen but it was designed regards the aforementioned and taking into consideration of how it would look on such a large scale.

Can't wait to see it .... UTR
