Sorry to be last to the party, I said I'd donate a few days ago and haven't been on here since, so I've just donated my fiver as promised
sorry to be a party pooper but that only means something to Barnsley fans and also in some cases to the older ones. It needs to show the the names of the two faces... otherwise its a bit meaningless..... just my opinion. And if needed I am more than willing to contribute maybe down the left of the flag vertically put P R E E D Y and down the right of the flag vertically put C R Y N E both 5/6 letters so it does almost balance
Re: sorry to be a party pooper but Got to say I disagree completely. It would spoil the design, and if people don't know, then that's their problem. Almost as bad as a St George's Cross with "England" written across the centre.
Re: sorry to be a party pooper but Agreed. Less is more. Especially on a big flag. That's why hopefully folk like the Well badge instead if the current one.
Re: sorry to be a party pooper but I think it's alright as the text at the top explains their contribution and therefore who they are. Fans of other clubs may not know their names (and probably won't care or would immediately forget them anyway) but they'll understand the sentiment we intend.
Re: sorry to be a party pooper but Stalrost & Brush Just heard from Neil. He's just got in and gone straight out. He was offline all afternoon at work. He'll catch up in morn n send you what you need OK
We're not planning on selling it or making any money from it so it should be ok I'd have thought? Otherwise everyone's flags would need to be confiscated.
It we're using footballflags.co.uk it comes with one, hopefully whichever company we are using provides us with one!!
Not a single mention of Patrick Cryne on the flag? There is no message? Those watching on telly won't know what it's about Yes I know can't please everyone etc but why not replace the Barnsleyfc wording with THANKYOU PATRICK Just my observation
Wonder also how possible it would be to take to away games. I guess that depends on how many fans we take compared to how big the away end is. Birmingham shouldn't be a problem.
