Struber has properly impressed me, fair play. Saw the starting XI and thought WTF He has see them train, picked the best of what he's seen and they repaid his faith. Well done boss, well played Reds
It did look a strange line up. 3rd choice keeper, Andersen back in for Halme, Clarke left out for Williams and Palmer given his debut. He could have had egg on his face but instead it all worked out. Walton kept a clean sheet, Andersen played one of his best games and Palmer started our goal attack with his tackle.
The only thing I did find strange was the last substitution when Thomas came on for Ludwig and styles went to right back?? We had Williams on the bench so I'm not sure why you would put someone out of position so late in the game especially when we were hanging onto to such a narrow lead..... Obviously it all worked out but I just thought it was strange.
Agreed. I also thought that Ritz was poor and we were crying out for Thomas to go one on one against there RB. I know far, far less than Struber though. Superb performance
I’m hard pushed to criticise much at all, but I thought Ritzmaier, for all his hard work, was also quite poor. I’d have like to have seen Oduor on in that position for a run at the right back
Maybe he based a lot of his selection on current fitness levels? Fair play to Struber though - I've criticised him in the past but he earned praised yesterday. Well done.
