    There was definitely a bit of complacency. I think we thought Port Vale wouldn't improve as much as they did in the second half, and we just look a lot weaker without Connell in the side.

    Definitely. I have my reservations about Kane but he was sorely missed. Although O'Keeffe, De Gevigney and McCart all having their worst games of the season didn't help, but a lot of that could have been due to the complete lack of protection from midfield.
