Paradoxically I agree with you. I actually didn't think Cole was very good, just mediocre. However, now I would have someone of his ability back simply because we are worse than mediocre up front. In the big scheme of things he himself was a downgrade on what we had up top previously. Then we 'improve' things by signing Rodriguez. If Cole was good he'd get lots of game time now. He isn't good though, he's mediocre. Yet, as I say, I'd have him now because we're so crap.
Do you really think Dev would come back here, yet again, and why should we want him anyway lol. He's past it Gord, although I would like to see Mowatt back again, if possible.
He hasn't started a game and played a grand total of 152 minutes from the bench so not even 2 games in total from the bench.
I don't know what the opposite of "flatters to deceive" is but I think Cole manages it. He would turn with the ball, take defenders on, leave them for dead, all while looking like Bambi on Ice. Effective but ungainly. He would rack up a dozen goals in no time, a constant threat, but have slumped shoulders and deceiving body language.
